Definition (Class K)
A Lipschitz Continuous function α:[0,a)→[0,∞), for a>0 is said to belong to class K if:
- It is strictly increasing and;
- α(0)=0.
Definition (Extended Class K)
A Lipschitz Continuous function α:[−b,a)→[−∞,∞) is said to belong to extended class K if:
- It is strictly increasing and;
- α(0)=0.
