Definition

A homomorphism is a map $f:A\to B$ for any two sets $A,B$ such that for an operation, $(\cdot)$ , applied on both sets is preserved i.e. $$f(x\cdot y)=f(x)\cdot f(y)$$for any $a,b\in A$.
