Definition (Bernoulli Trial)

Consider an experiment where event $A$ occurs with probability $p$. Where $$\begin{align*} A&=\mbox{Success}\\ A^c&=Failure \end{align*}$$This is called a Bernoulli Trial with probability $p$ of success.
